Customized Private or Group French classes are available with the focus you need – be it survival French, business French, or tutoring help for kids and teens. Private lessons generally meet in two-hour blocks and can be scheduled at the time and location of your choice.

- A knowledge of French can open doors to graduate school, important research, and careers in the fields of medicine, the environment, business, engineering, and science and technology. American companies well established in France include: IBM, Microsoft, Mattel, Dow Chemical, Sara Lee, Ford, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Motorola, Steelcase, and Johnson & Johnson. - French speakers have a reputation for being very protective of their language, especially against the encroachment of English. The Académie française is the official authority on the French language, regulating usage and vocabulary – although its recommendations are not legally binding. It specifically tries to combat the influence of English on French. The issue is also a political one – France has multiple minority languages that have struggled for greater recognition; the government has generally preferred to promote French, citing (among other things) the need for a single language to unify the people of France.
